Five doctors and two assistants in training work at the Maison Médicale des Marolles.  

 

Each doctor provides consultation periods at the medical center, and travels to your home when necessary.  

 

Two types of general medicine consultations exist at the medical center:  

• Advance appointments are consultations scheduled several days in advance. They allow the monitoring of chronic diseases, the carrying out of preventive clinical examinations (cervical smears for example), the support of people suffering from addiction, or simple regular health checks.  

• Same-day appointments are consultations available only on the same day. They allow you to see a doctor for more urgent health problems, which cannot wait for an appointment in advance.  

 

General practitioners accompany, listen, support and inform patients about their health. 

They follow patients of all ages (babies, children, adults, elderly).  

They work in collaboration with other professionals in the medical home, and with other care structures (family planning, mental health centers, hospitals, etc.). They can refer to a specialist when necessary.  

They are also involved in health education and preventive medicine projects (vaccination, screening for cardiovascular diseases and cancers, support in smoking and alcohol cessation, etc.).
